Healthy Heads in Trucks & Sheds (HHTS) is an initiative by industry for industry, that exists to address and help industry leaders, managers, business owners and workers tackle industry specific challenges regarding mental health and wellbeing.
This new not-for-profit foundation was formed in response to the need for an industry specific response to the mental and broader physical health and wellbeing challenges facing our industry. For further information I highly recommend that TruckSafe members read the recently released National Mental Health and Wellbeing Roadmap developed by HHTS.
Additionally, HHTS has just launched its membership campaign. Individual membership for owner drivers or individuals in the supply chain is free, business membership options are available for organisations with more than one employee and offers access to practical resources, toolkits and handbooks for employers and employees.
Improving mental health and wellbeing, right across our industry, right across Australia is essential. Your membership will contribute to driving that positive change, now and into the future. When you become a HHTS member you are supporting the cause that supports the trucking industry.
